Dairy & Livestock

Extension staff provide technical assistance in farm management and agricultural regulations for Grays Harbor County dairy farmers. The Extension Dairy Team answers questions on animal health and conditions resulting in cost savings and improvements overall.

In order to train and maintain the skills of area livestock producers, volunteer ELA (Extension Livestock Advisors) conduct:

  • Conferences
  • Training Seminars
  • Farm Tours
  • School Demonstrations
  • County Fair Exhibits

Gary Fredricks, Livestock and Dairy Area Agent, addresses all aspects of livestock and dairy production in Washington. Gary's role as a team member targets personnel management, youth programs, milking techniques, and waste management issues.

For further information, email Gary at garyf@wsu.edu or call Gary at 360-577-3014, ext. 3
